This month we introduce a new Real Talk series focusing on issues concerning Muslim women and families. In the first installment of Real Talk Family Matters our Hakima, Amany Shalaby, will be sharing insights about adoption and foster care as they exist in the Islamic tradition. Additionally, Alyssa Elaskari, our Communications Manager and Guardian ad Litem, will be sharing resources for those who are interested in adoption or becoming a foster parent to a child.
