The Muslim Women's Organization strives to work together with other organizations and community leaders. If you are looking for specific support or help from the community, you may find some helpful resources below. While we are open to working with everyone that meets our values, we are an independent organization and do not endorse or affiliate ourselves with the teachings or values projected by any other group.

MWO also has seasonal community service projects through which we support those in need throughout Central Florida. These include our Community Assistance for Ramadan and Eid (CARE) projects, Hope in a Basket Thanksgiving Drive, and disaster relief special projects. To apply directly for assistance through one of our projects, please submit an assistance request form. For urgent needs, however, we recommend that you contact one of the other social service providers listed below. in the COVID Action Guide. We are not a direct social services provider, but we do believe in mutual aid and the importance of taking care of our members, volunteers, and constituents by doing whatever we have the capacity to do and, if can’t provide aid, referring women to other organizations that can meet their needs. Apply for CARE (Community Assistance for Ramadan and Eid)

Each year, the Muslim Women’s Organization supports Central Florida Muslim families in need by providing Community Assistance for Ramadan and Eid (CARE).  CARE Packages were first coordinated in 2012 as a unique program offering packages of food and traditional Ramadan grocery items to local families in preparation for the blessed month. In 2014, we incorporated the addition of the Eid Gift Drive, and later added the Eid Clothing Drive and Pop Up Shop. We also added halal meat distributions at different locations throughout the community.
