The blessed nights of Laylat-ul-Qadr are almost upon us. The MWO is hosting our fourth annual Women's Qiyam Gathering. We are continuing that tradition and joining in collective prayer, dhikr and dua led by local women. We will begin at 11:30pm. We will be providing tea, coffee and some refreshments and ask that you bring a snack item to share.
Let's head to the beach to eat, pray, and build sisterhood! And increase our connection between Muslim women, and reflect on the beauty of The Magnificent Allah's creation.

This month we'll explore Black Muslim women in movements. Muslim women have long been the backbone of the development of Islam, including Islamic thoughts, practices, and movements. Join us in person at the HUB or online for a film screening and then to discuss current movements that Muslim women are leading.
We will speak about and increase awareness on healthy life style choices. We will have A Yoga Practitioner at the event who will lead a session of chair yoga. We will also have a discussion about lifestyle and mental health.
