Journeys with Amany: Convert Connection is a spiritual gathering space and one of our Sisterhood Initiatives. Inshallah, it is our goal to provide a space for Muslim women who have accepted Islam (at any place in their spiritual and religious journey) to connect with one another, feel seen, heard, and not judged while they discuss topics that are important to them as they navigate their journeys into the faith community.

This event is to create connection between born Muslims and convert sisters. We are aiming to build a consistent safe space to allow the converts to have a positive experience in their journey to islam.

We invite our sisters who have reverted to Islam to join us at the MWO HUB for an intimate potluck iftar. It will be a space to build connections with other women in different places on their faith journeys so we can learn from one another. So bring your favorite dish to share and RSVP soon. SPACE IS LIMITED!

After breaking our fast, we will play a game where we will have the converts ask any questions in regard to islam to their Muslim sisters. By doing this, we are creating a support system for the converts.

Our Schedule
6:00pm - 6:15pm - Arrival
6:20pm - 6:25pm - Break-fast (with some dates and water)
6:30pm- Pray Maghrib together
6:40pm -7:20- Eat and mingle
7:30pm - 8:25- Social Game (Write a question)
8:30 -End with a beautiful Dua.
