Sustainability is essential for our organizations, but women of color and immigrants leading nonprofits and businesses often do not have the skillset to apply for and obtain grant funding. Join us for a series of virtual Grant Writing Workshops as part of MWO’s Her Leadership Toolbox series. This is a 3 part series happening on Tuesday nights throughout March!
Session 1: March 2nd at 7-9pm - Intro to Fundraising/Philanthropy
Introduction to grant writing as a strategy, including an understanding of trends, players (foundations), and how to find them.
Session 2: March 9th at 7-9pm - Developing Your Grant Proposal
Statement of need and how to start writing a proposal, including how to review RFPs and engage with program officers to understand what is needed in the proposal.
Session 3: March 23rd at 7-9pm - Developing Your Logic Model & Budget
How to develop a logic model, program budget, and guidance on the submission and follow-up process.
THIS IS A SERIES OF SESSIONS THAT BUILD OFF OF EACH OTHER. THOSE WHO REGISTER ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND ALL 3 SESSIONS.
