The goals of this training are to: increase knowledge of the risk of domestic and family based violence in your masjid community; clarify the Islamic perspective on Domestic and Family Based Violence per the Sunnah; understand and prepare for the outcomes and risks of domestic and family based violence in masjids; be informed of your ethical and legal responsibilities as a religious leader in the United States related to domestic and family based violence; create a local plan with accessible resources for religious institutions in your area.
