We carry so much in our hearts as women, as Muslims, as daughters, as mothers, as partners, and as friends. We are creating a space for you to connect with other Muslim women, and have conversations about our lives, our struggles, and our stories while working on creative projects as a form of expression and release.

Sacrifice

As we approach the time of Hajj, we are reminded of the great sacrifice made by Hajar, agreeing to remain in the desert in submission to Allah (SWT), recognizing that He is the source of all provision. In our own lives, we are often called to make sacrifices in submission to Allah (SWT). What are those sacrifices - as women, mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters? And how do we stay steadfast in recognizing Allah (SWT)’s mercy, compassion, and provision for us?

During our discussion we will be making tasbeeh to take home and enjoy, or give to someone else. beadwork is a relaxing way to unwind and create something beautiful and useful at the same time. No experience required! We’ll have several bead types and colors for you to choose from and give you some general guidance, but this is a chance for your creativity and personal preferences to shine.
