Prophet Muhammad said, “Women are the twin halves of men,” and God Almighty granted all human beings dignity and equitable rights and responsibilities. Women need to be the catalysts and leaders in empowering each other and, consequently, the community, to create meaningful change to ensure that women’s needs are met.
Do you want to help empower Muslim women in the community? Join our Gender Equity Committee and one of the Task Forces to be a part of the solution!
The MWO’s Gender Equity Committee has three goals.
