Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, brought a message of equity and dignity for women that many, to this day, do not understand. MWO is dedicated to building the power of women and doing so through education, training and sisterhood. Our Gender Equity Program utilizes all of these methods to empower women through increasing awareness about and creating solutions for the challenges Muslim women face in our community. Our current areas of focus include Violence Against Women and Women’s Health.
