“The believers are but a single brotherhood.”
Sisterhood in Islam is something very special. Even more for a sister who came from a life as a non-Muslim and embraced this beautiful religion. She gains a new family with her new sisters in Islam.
So what makes this bond so special? And what can we do to avoid feeling alone in our journey?
As the year ends, we begin with a new monthly focus to share feelings of belonging, togetherness, inclusion, acceptance and much more. Join the conversation!
Facilitating this month’s conversation: Sadaf Saied, Executive Director and a founding member of the Muslim Women’s Organization. She is passionate about nurturing a compassionate, inclusive, and pluralistic society and developing these qualities not only in women, but also in the girls that will be the leaders of tomorrow.
