For Women's History Month, our Real Talk will focus on the history of Feminism, both Western Feminism, and Islamic Feminism. The word "feminist" is often used as an insult, and associated with a Western and colonial understanding of the word. Where does MWO fall into this continuum? We are an organization that advocates for gender equity from a faith-based perspective. This event will be private and registration is required to join the conversation.
